I had a wonderful stay at Madeira 29 hostel, and honestly, it might be the best hostel I've ever experienced. The staff, Caroline and Douce, were incredible, catering to all my needs and sharing great insights about the island. The historical charm of the old house mixed with the cleanliness and modern amenities made for a comfortable stay. While I found the beds a bit too firm for my liking, everything else about my time there was top-notch, especially considering the very affordable price.

I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay in a well-equipped hostel with fantastic staff who truly made my time there special. The central location made it easy to explore the city, and the clean facilities were a significant plus. However, noise from the street and other guests did interrupt my sleep occasionally. Overall, it was a great value for a cozy holiday experience.
